It is with heavy hearts that we say "goodbye" to our great friend and cohort bassist Jack Stoehr. Jack has been offered an excellent employment opportunity  that, quite simply, is too good to pass up. Jack has been sharing the stage with me for about 10 years now -- and the testament to his character is that it seems like no time at all. I feel like he is still the "new bass player". He has become one  of my dearest and closest friends -- I am a better person for knowing him. His hysterical way of telling stories, the impromptu characters, the way he could make us all laugh until we dropped from exhaustion -- there have been more than a few times I have had trouble regaining composure on stage after one of his episodes. I will greatly miss our discussions on road trips to Dacono, Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins, Bailey, -- anywhere for that matter. I know I speak for everyone that he will be always in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. We wish Jack all the best all the time, and remind him that (should it come to pass) the door is always open -- if needed to return -- and if the need to visit becomes great....well the Holidays are not far away, and we DO gather and  feast!........................

Jack will be performing with me Wednesday, Sept. 15th at the Rock Rest, and a final performance Saturday, Sept. 18th at the Shack. Immediately following the Shack performance he will head out on his new journey, new life, to upstate New York. He will be greatly missed. And a note to Jack -- thank you for all the time, effort, patience, and friendship. I love ya my  brother, and I'm not ashamed to say it.
